As each day goes by the sights get better and better. It was so pretty today, it was almost unreal. At one point we were driving at night in the middle of a forest, and the shift in color from the top of the trees to the blue night sky was just insane. Then we came around a corner and I saw the largest thing I have ever seen. Some big ass mountain. It was strange because it was pitch black, and you could only make out the shape. Melinda would not let me take a picture of the smells, but I tried. We spent most of the day moving around San Fran today vs driving, so we got a late start - hints San Fran Pics. We are in Oregon now, and will be in Portland around 3 tomorrow, and plan on spending the rest of the afternoon rambling. Then finish up in Seattle. More to come.
